Grip Society is co-owned by Matt Connelly, known throughout the community as “Hollywood” Matt Connelly aka Double Biceps. With over seven years in the sport, Matt has become a recognised figure in Australian armwrestling through competition, commentary, and media. He runs the SA Titans Armwrestling Club, hosts his own armwrestling podcast, and has provided commentary for major events.

Co-owner Hilary Daniels brings a fresh perspective to the sport and the brand. Despite being relatively new to armwrestling, Hilary reached 3rd place in the Women’s Open Weight rankings in South Australia in 2026, showing rapid growth and commitment.

Together, Matt and Hilary also founded the SA Wolves Armwrestling Club, continuing their mission to grow the sport and strengthen the local armwrestling community from the ground up.

As Australia’s first dedicated armwrestling apparel brand, Grip Society exists to give the sport the representation it deserves — through apparel inspired by competition, training, and the identity that comes with life around the table.
